Pascal Boyart is a passionate artist who has been drawing since he was a child. Growing up near the La Chapelle wasteland, the birthplace of European graffiti, it was only natural that he began his artistic journey as a graffiti artist. With his figurative style and technical virtuosity, he quickly earned the respect of his peers in the urban art world. For almost fifteen years, he covered the walls of the capital with his ultra-realistic frescoes. Throughout this urban period, Pascal Boyart retained an obvious fascination with monumental portraits. Today, he focuses his artistic vision on the representation of the gaze and its expressive potential, paying tribute to the infinite complexity of the relationship between the human face and the soul - the most essential and most hidden part of each individual. His creative approach is both an inheritor of urban culture and classical sensitivity, and his material approach to painting combines new technologies with traditional painting techniques. He accepted donations in Bitcoin through a QR code affixed to his mural paintings very early on and has transformed multiple of his mural frescoes into digital collection tokens, aka NFTs.
